Digital School Cycle

PROGRESS

Digital art, acrylic paint, foam boards

12 x 16 inches x 3 pieces

Composed of three pieces, this digital art series encapsulates the nerve-wracking experience of dealing with school and the modern teen’s work load. The first piece depicts the feeling of a mental breakdown in a classroom environment, the second the extreme dependence on technology for school, and the last a depiction of the cycle of the monotonous schedule and workload in the life of a student. Each piece references digital media to highlight the pervasive effects of technology on teens, how social media and devices act as their main source of escape from the relentless pressure induced in school environments.
