Inspired by the life of Van Gogh, The Late Christopher Bean tells the compelling story of a little-known painter whose works, after his death, suddenly achieve astronomical value in London, contrasting sharply with his life of poverty. The play unfolds through three acts, skillfully using the unities of time, place, and action to reveal both the greed and compassion within human nature.

Alongside the performance, this event features a cross-disciplinary exhibition designed by students, blending Van Gogh’s iconic works with creative expressions from diverse fields. The exhibition aims to engage the audience interactively, presenting visually captivating artworks that reflect innovative interpretations of Van Gogh’s legacy. These pieces, along with their exclusive merchandise, will be auctioned, with all proceeds benefiting BC Children’s Hospital, to help bring the joy and impact of art to more young lives.
